  • Heavyweight Iron Medals: For a more substantial feel, the Cascade range (e.g., Cascade Winner or Star Performer) is cast from iron for added weight and finished in antique gold, silver, or bronze effects.
  • Presentation Sets: When the occasion demands higher prestige, such as a “Player of the Year” award, choose a medal that includes a presentation case, like our Triumph Medal in Box or the Blue Velvet Box series.

Personalisation: Engraving and Centres

A generic medal becomes a cherished keepsake through personalisation. Most of our medals, including the Typhoon and Alliance Multisport lines, feature a standard 1-inch centre. This allows you to add a specific sport icon (football, hockey, swimming) or a custom domed centre featuring your club or school logo.

Furthermore, we offer traditional text engraving on the reverse of the medal. This is the best place to record the winner’s name, the date, and the event title. Unlike printed labels, mechanical engraving cuts into the metal for a permanent finish.

Completing the Award: Ribbons and Boxes

Do your medals come with ribbons attached?
Some of our medals are sold as complete sets, but generally, ribbons are selected separately to allow you to choose your specific club or event colours. Check the product options on the Select Options page to see if ribbons are included or need to be added.

What is the difference between a standard and an ‘Iron’ medal?
Standard budget medals are often made from zinc alloy, which allows for detailed casting at a lower price and weight. Medals labelled as ‘Iron’ (like our Cascade range) are stamped from iron, giving them a heavier, more premium weight in the hand, similar to professional sporting medals.

Can I use my own logo on the medal?
Yes. Most of our medals, such as the Shooting Star or Glitter Star, have a circular recess designed for a “centre.” We can produce custom domed vinyl centres featuring your club crest, school logo, or corporate branding to ensure the award is unique to your organisation.
