Real Trophies for Every Level of the Game

A trophy from a presentation night tends to sit on a shelf for years. It gets pointed at, photographed, and talked about long after the season is forgotten. That’s why we build our range around the actual traditions of Association Football rather than stocking generic awards and calling them football trophies.

Our collection covers three distinct areas.

Individual player awards — from the Golden Boot for your top scorer to dedicated Safe Hands glove trophies for goalkeepers and Match Ball awards for hat-trick scorers.

The principal prizes — traditional silver-plated and nickel-plated presentation cups and heavy mahogany-based shields for league and cup winners.

And the off-pitch roles that often go unrecognised — dedicated awards for referees, coaches, and the club volunteers who make everything run.

Youth Football and Junior League Awards

Junior football accounts for a significant part of what we do. We supply hundreds of local youth clubs, junior leagues and primary schools with awards that are age-appropriate — not just scaled-down versions of adult trophies.

Age Group Recommended Award Why?
Under 7s – 9s 50mm Engraved Medals Great for participation and easy for kids to wear at presentation nights.
Under 10s – 12s Resin Action Figures Sturdier than plastic and looks “real” on a bedroom shelf.
Under 13s – 16s Boot or Ball Sculptures More modern, detailed designs that appeal to older teenagers.

If you’re ordering for a full youth league with multiple age groups, our bulk discount structure applies across the whole order, not per category. It’s worth calling us on 01653 691535 to talk through the best combination before you order.

Ladies & Girls’ Football Awards

The women’s and girls’ game has grown considerably, and our ladies football trophies range has grown with it. We stock female player figures and Player of the Year awards designed specifically for girls’ teams and women’s leagues, not adapted versions of the male range. If you’re organising a women’s presentation night and can’t find what you need in the dedicated section, contact us directly and we’ll point you to the right options.

Engraving & Club Customisation

All engraving is carried out in-house at our workshops in Norton and York, nothing is sent out to a third party. This keeps turnaround times predictable and gives us direct control over the quality of every piece of engraving before it leaves.

  • Free Engraving: is included on most trophies for up to 40 characters. That’s typically enough for the player’s name, the award category, and the season. For example: Sarah Johnson — Player of the Year — 2025/26.
  • Your Club Crest: For larger club orders, we can fit 25mm centres with your own club badge. This makes the full award set look considerably more considered than a standard ball-and-boot motif, and it’s something many clubs return to year after year once they’ve seen the difference.

Supporting Grassroots Football

We’re a national business, but a significant share of our customers are grassroots clubs and amateur leagues working with tight end-of-season budgets. Our discount structure is designed with that in mind.

Football Trophies FAQ’s

What is the difference between a Players’ Player and a Manager’s Player award?
The Players’ Player award is decided by a squad vote. It’s peer recognition from teammates, which is why it tends to carry the most weight in the dressing room. The Manager’s Player is selected by the coaching staff, usually for tactical discipline, consistency, or work rate over the course of the season rather than headline statistics.

Which individual awards are traditional for a football presentation night?
Most clubs present a Golden Boot for the top goalscorer, a Player of the Year, and a Most Improved Player for the biggest developmental leap over the season. Many also include a Clubman of the Year to recognise a volunteer, committee member, or long-serving non-playing contributor. It’s one of the most appreciated awards of the night and one of the most commonly forgotten when clubs are planning their order.

How should trophy sizes be prioritised across a presentation night?
The largest trophy should go to the overall winner, league champions, cup winners, or the main Player of the Year. Runner-up and category awards are conventionally smaller or in a different format, such as shields or medals, so the hierarchy is visible at a glance. If everything is the same size, nothing feels special.

What is the best way to record historical winners on a football trophy?
Perpetual trophies with a large wooden base or plinth band are the standard solution. The base provides space for multiple engraving plates, allowing a club to add a new winner each season and build up a chronological record over the years. We can advise on which trophies in our range have sufficient base space for multi-year recording. Call us on 01653 691535 or drop us a message before ordering.
